This honey jar is made from 100% teak wood and hand-carved into a shape similar to a beehive. The outer surface features deep, parallel grooves that further intensify the natural grain patterns and golden brown tones of the wood. The lid includes a small holder, small enough to be inconspicuous with the overall silhouette of the jar while still allowing for a steady grip when taking the lid off. It also has a hole on the side to accommodate the honey dipper, letting it rest inside the jar for easy use. Both the inside and outside of the jar, and even the dipper, are covered in a layer of beeswax and natural oils to give it extra charm and protection. This, combined with the natural durability of teak wood, makes this piece a life-long kitchen staple.
