Shipping & Returns

- Available on most orders over $99.99 in BC, AB,

SK, MB, ON, and QC.

- Restrictions: Free Shipping Policy excludes large/heavy items,

marble, cast iron cookware, rural addresses,

and PO Boxes (may incur flat rate).  

>>**Shipping in Canada can be costly,

especially to rural and destinations outside of larger cities.

In the event that excessive freight rates are quoted by

Canada Post or Courier (UPS, Purolator or Canpar),

and for any other reason not stated in this policy,

Bear Country Kitchen reserves the right to exempt

that shipment from this policy. In all instances you

will be contacted to notify you of the high freight charges

and be offered the opportunity to offset these charges

with a flat rate fee. You will have the option to

approve and pay the flat rate fee to offset the

shipping fees or cancel your order if you wish.**<<

We wish we had better shipping options in

Canada. We never work with third party resellers,

Amazon or Wayfair. We keep our prices

authentic and the cost of shipping real.

- Nunavut, NWT & Yukon: $25 flat rate. Rest of

Canada: $15 flat rate (in some instances).

- Shipping estimated based on item availability

and shipping option chosen.

- Orders under $25 subject to full shipping charge

(calculated at checkout, potential refund if

overestimated).

- Courier: FedEx, Purolator, UPS, Canpar, or

Canada Post (unless Canada Post priority

specified).

- Most economical option chosen; smaller items

may ship via Canada Post with stamps (with

customer approval and refund of excess shipping).

- Available with international tracking (customer

pays extra cost).

- No delivery date guarantees or refunds for

shipping delays.

- PO Boxes may be exempt from free shipping and may incur

flat rate. Use street address whenever possible.

- Requires complete street address, postal code,

and phone number.

- Not responsible for delays/loss due to inaccurate

addresses. Customer responsible for additional

shipping charges due to incorrect addresses.

- Keep damaged goods and all packaging; take photos.  Without these photos, claims be denied.

- Inspect freight shipments; mark bill of lading as

"DAMAGED" if applicable.

- Replacements not automatically sent; credits

given based on policy.

- Not liable for items missing after successful

delivery. Customer responsible for secure delivery

area.

- Shipping fees not refunded for returned-to-sender

parcels; return charges will be deducted from refund.

- Full returns/exchanges if unopened, unused, in

original packaging with all accessories.

- Must be within 30 days of purchase.

- For broken items received from online order,

send photo documentation MUST be sent to

info@bearcountrykitchen.ca with order number

within 24 hours.

- Refunds processed within 5 business days of

receiving/verifying return.

- Gift Cards/E-Gift Certificates not redeemable

for cash; lost/stolen cards cannot be reissued.

- Seasonal items cannot be returned/exchanged

after December 1st.

- Minimum order of $100 to use Sezzle payment

service.
